That's what is most disappointing about all of this. Seven years after that happens, you're ready to reboot Iron Man, and have the cycle repeat itself, except this time, you have all your properties under one roof and you can really have fun with it. After your big Fantastic Four event, you negotiate with Fox for X-Men and do it all over again. Get the rights to one of those franchises and then you can be like "hey, look what we have for you after this is done!" You have your big draw again, a name to replace Iron Man/Thor/Hulk/Captain America, that you can milk for another seven years. To me, the run up to Infinity War 2 would be the perfect time to negotiate with Fox for one of X-Men or Fantastic Four, but not both. As a casual comic-book guy, I love that, but for the average movie-goer there's no big draw there outside of Spider-Man.
So after Infinity War 2, we'll probably be left with Ant-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man and the Inhumans, plus a scattered assortment of Guardians/New Avengers/Defenders. Marvel can currently make a great movie out of just about anything, but a lot of their "big names" are currently coming up to the end of their contracts, and we're assuming that by the end of Infinity War 2 their characters are dead.
